Dave and Julie Rudolph
Dave and Julie have been serving on the Garden Route since 2006, and have lived in Knysna since 2011. As Church Planters, they have been used of God to begin Lakeside Baptist Church in Sedgefield, which in turn birthed two more congregations: the Agape Baptist Church in George, and the Lagoonside Baptist Church in Knysna. Dave serves as an elder at Lagoonside Baptist Church and works primarily with discipleship and evangelism along the Garden Route. He is also the Chairman of Knysna Hope, our registered NPO. The Rudolphs have two boys, Jared and Justin, both living in Cape Town.

Wayne and Kirstie Schmidt
Wayne and Kirstie moved to Knysna from Johannesburg with a focus on ministry advancement in 2011. After a brief time in Plett, they joined the ministry team at Lagoonside Baptist. Wayne serves in the position of lead elder at Lagoonside, responsible for vision and preaching. Kirstie works from home, encourages her husband, and ministers to women at Lagoonside. Wayne supports his family through a pool maintenance business and real estate photography. They have one son named Cayden.

Phil and Kristen arrived in Knysna from the USA in 2013, with a focus on developing and promoting music education in the community and Christian community Radio in Knysna. Phil serves as an elder at Lagoonside Community Church in Knysna as well as Music Director in the worship services each week, and preaches regularly. Kristen has a burden for teaching computer literacy in our community through Knysna Hope NPO. Phil and Kristen have three teenage daughters, Bryn, Reyna & Erin

Richard & Mandy Pope
Richard is a Deacon at Lagoonside and is in charge of the church accounts and finance. Richard also oversees the Monthly Men's Breakfast while Mandy is involved with the Ladies Bible Study. Both are involved in their family business, Knysna Manor House, a Guest House in town through which they get to live out and share their faith with folk passing through town.
