opening door during covid

Greetings Knysna Community & Lagoonside Church Family

This Sunday the 26th July, we will be opening the doors for Church Fellowship. 

We will be having our meetings 10 am Sundays. Should you be considering joining us at church then please read the following guidelines we will be following:

Notice Guidelines For Convening for Church at the Building

1. Not More Than 50 People (Inform us  ahead of time if you plan to come)
   
2. Our Service will not be longer than 90 minutes. 
   
3. People with the following recent flu-like symptoms should observe church remotely and not attend physically, namely fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, or difficulty in breathing, body aches and pains.. 
   
4. Any person over the age of 60 and persons with co- morbidities are encouraged to continue worshiping from home.
   
5. Face Mask to be worn covering Mouth and Nose 
   
6. Seating will be arranged as per social distancing, families can be together. 
   
7. There is to be no physical contact between persons at the place of worship. 
   
8. Singing of hymns will be limited to solo performances, or pre-recorded performances.
   
9. Those doing any form of presentation in the front for the service without a mask will be at least 2.5m away from the nearest seated congregant. 
   
10. Ushers and those counting the offering should sanitize hands before and after performing those responsibilities. 
    
11. The hand sanitiser provided at the church must have at least 70% alcohol content. or a generic alternative with a similar sanitising effect. 
    
12. Hands to be sanitized at the door on arrival and departure.
    

Between Services all surfaces like tables and chairs etc to be sanitized including kitchen counters and toilet facilities.

We will maintain a Register of attendees. Kindly send Kristen the following information once off for each of you that will attend :
(a) Full names;
(b) Residential address;
(c) Contact Details: cell number, telephone number or e-mail address

Any form of socialising should be done only outside and 1.5m apart
Where places of worship remain open to the public for visits, prayer or counselling, No substance or liquid may be shared between persons.
